What challenges and/or successes do you face as a young person working in food systems?
As a youth working at the food project for the past three years I have had a lot of experience as a youth working in the food system. I feel that the youth really are the future of the food system. Working in the system has taught me a lot about where my food comes from, what the labor invovled is like, and the problems in it. This has undoubtedly made me a better consumer, and has given me the ability to teach others around me about how to be better more concious consumers.
