Friday June 30, from 6:30 ‘till dark is a very special time at The Food Project. It will be the third annual Lincoln community Farm Feast, an event which is a special way to start the summer, awakening and delighting all the senses.
The Food Project chef, Joan MacIsaac, and her kitchen interns will prepare delectable meal of refreshing and colorful salads, pastas, grains, and meats fresh off the grill. A contra band will play gorgeous tunes while the guests savor the last bite of their fresh picked strawberry shortcake and take in the delicate beauty of the twilight fading across the farm. And then as the pastel hues take on a deeper shade the dancing begins and families, friends and Food Project staff will twirl around to the cues of the caller on the soft grass next to the flower garden. Gradually as the night winds down and the evening sounds of the woods fill the air in the twinkling candlelight all will head home satisfied and with the surety that this too will be a good summer.
We particularly invite the residents of Lincoln, although all are welcome, to come out and appreciate all of the beauty which comes from our land. (Non-Lincoln residents will be placed on a waitlist in first come first serve order which will then be used to fill the remaining spots the week before the feast.)
Tickets for adults are $20, children $10 or a family of three or more is $50. Please contact Jen James at 781-259-8621 x24, or email jjames AT thefoodproject DOT org to reserve your seats.
