We opened a recent BLAST staff meeting by writing haiku’s about BLAST and the BLAST network. It was such a great way to start our meeting that we thought we’d share it. Haiku’s always have a five syllable line followed by a seven syllable line and then another five syllable line.

Liz
People unite food
Together we grow strong
Fight the powerful

Ben
Building a local
Agricultural system
Today ˆ that is BLAST

Monica Pless
The mist: millions of
droplets into the one great
bucket of change - BLAST

Dylan
BLAST, a web of youth
Building a healthy future
But we love pizza

Becky
BLAST came from The Food
Project and it will always be
Unless we mess it up

Cammy
Bunches of carrots
Thrust at strangers in Copley
Eat Local you fool

Can you write any others? Please add them as a comment so that we can all enjoy them.
