Shannon Raider and the GROW Hartford youth group recently hosted a LIFT Training at their organization in Hartford, CT. The youth group from GROW created a musical introduction to their organization for the LIFT training, and it goes like this:

Once upon a time not long ago
We worked in a place called Hartford GROW
We work all day on our hands and knees
Sometimes its so hot
We don’t feel no breeze

But its all right we be having fun
Cause everybody get along with everyone

We don’t care what people think of us
Cause we doin our thing pickin cucumbers
Tomatoes and Collard greens we even plant those things called yellow beans

We don’t only plant
We help our community with Chris and Shannon Fran and Angie!
